Socratic Seminar 4/1

Many of the participants in today's Socratic seminar thought that the book was a difficult read. I agree. Not only because the style of writing is difficult to comprehend, but because the book is very fast paced. there is just one huge event after another. Another thing I heard mentioned was ambition. Ambition plays a huge role in the story. Macbeth killed the king without thinking, then regretted immediately after. One last point that i would like to bring on the subject of who has the most most power. many people said it was either the witches or lady Macbeth. I believe it is Macbeth who holds all the power. thought it is true that lady Macbeth can manipulate him. she still needs him to do what she wants. She was not able to kill king Duncan, nor would she be able to become king.
