Terry Besser writes about the main aspect of small town living that most people love. This is that most people who live in small town feel very safe. They feel that nothing can bother them. They feel that people within the town are good people, and would never do wrong to anyone else within the town. She continues to write about how the people’s feeling of security has little to do with the effectiveness of the law enforcement within the area. It is mostly to do with The fact that everyone knows each-other by name, and the fact that everyone looks out for the people around them.
